Paid Teaching/Studio Assistantships will be awarded to Otis students or recent alumni to continue assisting at the same K-12 School or Community Arts Organization that they worked at during their Teaching / Community Arts Internship class (or another approved site of their choice).
The T.A. positions will be awarded through a competitive application process. This award will be disbursed in bi-weekly payments at $13.50/hour (or $18/hour for Alumni, Graduate & CE Students). Exact hours will depend on awardee’s availability and k-12 school/community organization schedule.
Must be an Otis student in good academic standing, or recent ACT alumni, who has already completed the Teaching Internship or Community Arts Internship classes (or equivalent TA experience). Priority will be given to ACT seniors, but recent ACT Alumni, and current Public Practice MFA students are also welcome to apply.

And submit a letter of interest stating who you assisted during your internship class (name of teacher/artist/designer and school/organization), why you want to continue the same position for pay, and how many hours a week you would like to work (minimum 3 hours/week – max 20 hours/week). Also outline your skills and previous experiences that have prepared you for this position and what you hope to gain from working with this teacher/school/organization again. Include a resume and link to Teaching Portfolio (on OSpace or other URL).
