Product Design alumnus Michael Ponce  (’09), Director of Product Design for dreamGEAR | iSound, led the design teams for two products which received CES Innovations Design and Engineering Awards for 2013: the dreamGEAR U Concert Dock Pro and
i.Sound iGlowSound Pro.

dreamGEAR U Concert Dock Pro:

The dreamGEAR U Concert Dock Pro is a speaker and charging dock for the all new Nintendo Wii U gaming system. The front mounted dock offers charging for the Nintendo Wii U Gamepad, while two rear mounted docks offer induction charging for two Nintendo Wii Controllers. Dual front mounted speakers provide exceptional audio for playing games, listening to music, or watching movies. Two side-mounted USB ports offer charging for two extra devices via cable.

i.Sound iGlowSound Pro:

The i.Sound iGlowSound Pro is inspired by today’s electronic music culture. The iGlowSound Pro is a portable, Bluetooth speaker for smartphones or MP3 players with Bluetooth or a 3.5mm audio jack. Advanced acoustics are tuned for crisp highs and deep bass, yet iGlowSound Pro looks as great as it sounds. Six glowing orbs dance in rhythm with your music or in other dynamic glow patterns. A rear-mounted USB port offers charging for your device via cable without skipping a beat. A built-in microphone allows iGlowSound Pro to be used as a speakerphone during phone calls. A built-in rechargeable battery allows iGlowSound Pro to be used at home or on the go.
