Blogs are used for more than just class assignments. People use blogs for all sorts of things. Various departments are using blogs as as a means of communicating with students. Some staff are using blogs to publish news about their areas. Groups of students are using blogs to share tips and experiences. And faculty are publishing blogs about best teaching practices for other faculty.
