Crafted in Seattle, Prairie Underground is made almost exclusively with sustainable textiles. The style is utilitarian, comfortable, and chic. Designer/Founder Davora Linder has asked students to create washable suiting separates that are both innovative and make use of sustainable super-material, hemp.
Using a muted palette of salt & pepper tweed, oatmeal, and undyed cotton fabrics, the collected features strong silhouettes and textured details. Students will go through another round of fittings before hitting the runway on May 7th.
