Road to Runway with Designer Bob Mackie

Bob Mackie and team came to campus for a fitting, to evaluate the works-in-progress of our Fashion seniors. This year, Mackie has asked student designers to be inspired by the spirit and vitality of a series of 1890’s Parisian Cabaret posters by artist Toulousse Lautrec. The master of glamour, designer Bob Mackie, visited the senior fashion class for the final fitting of their evening wear collection. Final Fitting for Lane Bryant

Fashion designer Joe McCarty of Lane Bryant visited the senior class’s final fitting to give them detailed feedback on their garments before their fashion show. His direction last semester requested that students create outfits that were versatile enough to be remixed and that could take the customer from “desk to dinner.”
