Art History Unstuffed. Michel Foucault: The Order of Things

Part One of a Five Part series on Michel Foucault, Michel Foucault: The Order of Things was posted on January 3, 2014. This post is an examination of Foucault’s important early book on how European epistemologies were formed, unformed and reformed over time. This series can also be accessed through with Heathwood Press, an English journal of philosophy, where Dr. Willette is a contributing writer.

All of the now-famous French scholars came from different fields and the re-writing of the past towards the future took place on many fronts with many individuals. No where is this effort to rethink history in view of the present more obvious than in the work of Michel Foucault.
