Ysamur (Sammy) Flores-Pena will be delivering a paper at the Popular Culture Association meeting in Chicago, Illinois, on April 16, 2014. He will be giving a paper on the connections between Chinese and Afro Cuban cultures, titled My Saints, Your Saints, Our Saints: Chinese Presence in Afro Cuban Culture.
