Just in case you didn’t read the Otis Community Email:
There is also a Lynda.com iPhone app. Open the app and go to its log in page. There is still no need to create an account. When you are on the Otis campus wifi network, just click on the button for “IP site license log in.”
Otherwise, click on the button “web portal log in >” and paste in this URL: https://login.proxyserver.otis.edu/login?url=http://iplogin.lynda.com. Enter your Otis email credentials, et voilà!
Alas, I haven’t found a Lynda.com app for other mobile devices, e.g. Android phones and Blackberries.
More information from Sue:
Lynda.com is now available to everyone at Otis anytime and anywhere! We have purchased an unlimited site license!
You no longer need to check out a user name at the Library. Whole labs of students can all be on at once!
When on campus, you just go through the link on the Library databases page. From home, you will be asked to authenticate with your Otis credentials.
