About Artists’ Books

The Otis Library holds items that do not circulate due to their age, fragility, or value. These items are kept out of the hurly-burly of everyday library life but can be requested and viewed in the library under supervision.

Artists’ books — books or book-like objects that are created by artists as art — are one of these “special” collections.

Our exhibitions in the display case in the center of the library feature artists’ books and other items from Special Collections and now this library exhibition blog will, too.
