The Toy Design Department had a fun filled day directly after theFoundation Forward event at CalMart.
Razor USA generously provided their full line of amazing scooters to test ride and enjoy, including the Rip Rider 360 and the all-famous Crazy Cart. Rafael Bencosme, Toy Design graduate from the class of 2013 was there to talk to students about his experience at Razor, where he interned during his Junior year, was hired as a designer after graduation and was responsible for many successful scooters including the award winning Zombie Kix scooters. Everyone enjoyed the fun riding Rip Rider 360 and the all-famous Crazy Cart!
Students also had tons of fun playing with some classic toys such as Twister, Hula Hoops and NERF guns!
The Toy Design Department offers a unique type of career path for students. In our Day of Play we introduced everyone to the exciting field of study and showed that following a design path that is fun, exciting, enriching and challenging can be very rewarding as it revolves around inspiring, educating and creating long lasting memories to kids of all ages.
We owe a big thanks to Razor and Raphael Bencosme for making this event possible.
