Alumnus Collin Riggs Professional Success

Collin_S_Rigg_Jrs_ProfessionalArchitecture/Landscape/Interiors (A/L/I) alumnus Collin S. Rigg Jr. (’12) has been working professionally since, and before, graduation!

Collin S. Rigg Jr. was born and raised in South Florida. He moved to Los Angeles to study Architecture/Landscape/Interiors (’12) at Otis College of Art and Design where he quickly found a love for 3D rendering.

“The kind of experience you get in the A/L/I program is unlike any other. It gave me the ability to quickly understand different design spectrums. My current focus is 3D Rendering and Image Consulting – so architecture, landscapes, interiors, furniture, and diagrams all play a huge part in my production of a great presentation. If it wasn’t for my education at Otis, I wouldn’t be able to problem-solve so intuitively.

During my junior year at Otis I landed a Job with Carlyle Design, an Interior Design firm and worked with them for a short time. After graduating in 2012 I worked for Boomphones (Headphones that turn into a boom box), Lauren & Luca Los Angeles (Fashion), Elizabeth Weinstock (Interiors/Specialty), Metra Design (Interiors), Blueprint Group (Head Designer @ Management Group for YMCMB –Lil twist), Lighting Design Alliance (Lighting Design), and Glass Apps (smart glass applications).

I finally found my “home” and have been working for the last year at Associates Purchasing + Knoll. Through all of my prior experience I gained skills and developed a rendering style that earned me the Knoll “Rookie of the Year” award and I owe my work ethic to the A/L/I program!” – Collin S. Rigg Jr.

See Collin at “Meet the Team”!

Congratulations Collin!
