PacSun Critique and Edit

The junior class has spent the fall semester working on a collection for PacSun. The direction from the California lifestyle brand asked students to create clothes in touch with the shipwrecked summer trend, full of variants of whites and ivories for a bleached out story. Fringe, lace-ups, and novelty trims will enhance the true beauty of the textile and garment shape, says the direction. The students created designs then had one-on-one critiques with their teachers, who helped them edit their designs.

These designs are sponsored by Cotton, Inc. which has generously given grant money to help students obtain materials. To qualify for the grant funding, the PacSun collection must be at least 60 percent cotton goods.
