Marlena Donohue curates ‘Forms of the Formless’ exhibition at Beijing Museum of Contemporary Art

On Sept 28th, Liberal Studies faculty Marlena Donohue closed the five-month show she curated at the Beijing Museum of Contemporary Art, China, titled Forms of the Formless. The exhibition investigated the way the word and concept of abstraction has been and is used in Eastern and Western aesthetic and philosophic traditions, and was extended two times due to popular response in Beijing. The show now travels in an amended version to several locations in Europe. The show included Otis faculty and alumni, like Renee Petropoulos and Flora Kao to name a few.
